Mike Adams
Bio
- I am 41 years old, married, with 3 children.
- I grew up in Heber, Utah, but have also lived in Southern Chile (as an LDS missionary)
and Richmond, Virginia.
- For the past 10 years I have worked here at Washington U. School of Medicine in St.
Louis, Missouri, as a Ph.D. medical research scientist studying the effects of drugs of
abuse on male reproductive function and dependence. Our research is funded by NIH. My
degree is in pharmacology/toxicology. I am also a hospital pharmacist and I work part-time
in an inner-city community hospital.
- My wife, Ann, works as an administrative assistant in an office for a nonprofit agency
that serves the needs of autistic individuals in this area. She is also a fiber artist
(weaving mainly and making articles of clothing from hand woven materials) and has had
pieces of her work in national and local art shows.
- I am an avid Orson Scott Card fan. My wife and 15 year old son have also read some of
OSC's books.
