Welcome to the grand experiment!   If this isn't living proof that we OSC list members have way too much time on our collective hands, we'll eat our hats.  (For those who don't wish to eat a hat, a hat eater will be provided.)

What's to follow is at once heart wrenching, deep, provocative, sensitive, and downright silly.  The editor takes no responsibility for the states of mind of the list members (even though the editor is a list member), and many of the list members haven't taken any responsibiltiy for their states of mind either....  However, we all DO believe that our own haiku is the best one (mine especially 8-p).  And someday someone will tell us exactly that... our mothers, if no one else.

If you've found this page, you're either a contributor of a haiku in search of an ego trip (boy did YOU come to the right place!) or a hapless observer.  If you're a hapless observer, look around and see if you can spot the best one(s).  After you've found the best one (which will, of course, be one of MINE <preen> ;-)), take a minute come back to this page and mail us your vote.  Many would-be poets are anxiously awaiting your words of acclaim....
